September 17, 200619 yr Well I had a very nasty experience with PSS and I doubt I will ever buy anything from them again.I brought the PSS 777 and it would not install correctly on my computer from the get go. The views of the panels were either missing or grossly distorted. I emailed PSS the same day I purchased and notified them of the problem. They emailed me back and suggested I re-install from scratch. I did with the same dismal results. They said they would look into it and get back to me. To make a long story short, after being stalled and put off for about 30 days, they emailed me back and said as far as they could figure, the problem was with Active Camera and not with their product, and they refused to allow me a refund. What a shoddy company to do business with! Never again.-Rick

The PSS777 looks as though its VC (virtual cockpit) is more high res than the PMDG 737. I love the weather radar and Traffic TCAS on the PSS777. The PMDG737 does not have this. Name one aircraft that can give you all these features apart from the Phoenix product? Also the Phoenix web site is down too, any reasons?
December 30, 200718 yr >Also the Phoenix web site is down too, any reasons?I think they have gone the way of the Dodo. It would have been nice if they had given some kind of "goodbye", or even an update :-roll Quote from MS Flight Team Lead: "We’ve made some guesses"
December 30, 200718 yr I don't have either product but I did investigate purchasing the CS 757.Block F is under beta 2 according to their product page. Their progress seems pretty reasonable to a bystander when considering systems are the most time consuming segment to program. They even released extensive progress reports. http://www.captainsim.com/products/b757/block_f.htmlAs a casual observer it seems like CS is a company some people love to hate, similar to microsoft. I'm sure some of it is justified, but I'm also sure alot of it is internet hot air filling the sails. I was extremely wary when I purchased the c-130x last week.I had no experience with CS other than reading the grumbling of others on the internet. I even started to disregard them, based on what I read I began forming a negative opinion. Now that I have purchased the C-130, and seen the quality of the F18 model in accel, I find it difficult to have a negative opinion of them.Every part of the process has been painless for me, I was flying within minutes of my purchase. I feel as though the product was expensive, but I do feel I got what I paid for.But just like me, I'm sure there are legions of people who flame CS and never even owned their products or had any direct experience with them. Funny how a bad rep can spread like wildfire on the net.Edit: I should state that I do have at least one criticism of CS. Why did they release an F117 and re-use the F18's cockpit?? That's pretty cheesy imo.
