September 5, 200619 yr >"Are you serious? Since their A330/340 PSS is famous for>relasing buggy, unfinished, inaccurate and simplistic>products. This is yet another one from this series. I hope>that LVLD will show them what 757 means.">>>Exactly how I have always felt about pss. They show no signs>of change either. EXACTLY the same for me here. I stopped buying from them a long time ago... NEVER will again. Best regards, Fritz ESSONO
September 6, 200619 yr Speaking of the devil... I dusted off the 777, applied the new patch, and did a flight from Dubai to Frankfurt. Performance and fps were atrocious all the way, wildly fluctuating, never going much above 18.After 6 hours and 30 minutes I pull up at the gate in EDDF, and, bingo, I'm looking at the desktop. :-mad ricardo
September 6, 200619 yr Yawn. Another PSS bashfest by the same cast of characters. I have zero problem w/ the PSS777 pre/post SP2 so I suspect user setup problems. September 6, 200619 yr nother blind defender a really excited user here - the simple 'truth' is that like many, I too just do not see the kind of issues described above, neither before nor after SP2The T7 performance fps wise, wxr and all is the same or better than the 763 or 744 - from the vc. I have never had a ctd with this plane.regards,Markhttp://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a319/mar.../sup_banner.jpgXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1024mb/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
September 6, 200619 yr >lol, It would make my day to see them go out of buisness.Wow..wanting people to lose their source of income...what are you 10 or do you naturally think like a child always? Why don't you practice your spelling before posting moronic comments. Eric
September 6, 200619 yr Same here Mark. Never a CTD and I run will a ton of stuff going on in the background. I am sure it is the users screwed up computer settings or something. Very few reports of CTD with the PSS birds....PMDG's 744 is the one that brings mine to its knees with CTD's and such. Eric
September 6, 200619 yr >yeah and another all too common pss defender that just doesnt see the truth.Nice! On my HW, don't see all the problems others are seeing. No problems with LDS or PMDG, all work fine and they are all fine products.Just don't see the point of smearing developers. It seems to be a sport for lot of the regulars here. Why would people want to put together products for this hobby with all the nitpicking and bellyaching about wingviews and squre tires?Safe landing,PatAMD A64 4000+ @ 2.6GHz, Zalman7700Cu cooler, Corsair XMS 1GB DDR, LTK6800GT-OC, Asus A8V MoBo, WDRaptorHDD, TrackIR4, CH FSYoke+TQ+peds, Eclipse RED KB, XP-hsp2 R9-9950X3D 32G | RTX5090 | 3T m.2 | Win11 | vkb-gf ultimate & pedals | virpil cm3 throttle | tm boeing yoke | pimax super uw | DCS
September 6, 200619 yr In fairness I've had no ctd probs with any of them, and ALL of them have features I miss on the others. there's a shock :-hah , a PSS 'subpar', behind the curve' 'crappy' 'buggy' plane with something I miss on THE 744.regards,Markhttp://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a319/mar.../sup_banner.jpgXPHomeSP2/FS9.1/3.2HT/1024mb/X700pro256 Regards, Mark
September 6, 200619 yr Author Good point Dillon, it's all about the tweaking, isn't it?http://www.my-buddy-icon.com/Icons/objects/red_3d_plane.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
September 6, 200619 yr Author I never , ever belly-ache about tires, doors, pitot tubes or the way the nose of a payware aircraft looks, ever. What riles me is jerky framerates compared to the competition, where the competitors even have modelled increased sophistication and still, somehow (I confess, I haven't a clue) manage to make their aircraft perform, flying-wise, much more fluidly than PSS. Why? Why? Why? Please, by now we all know how to maximize frames and tweak performance, CPU, GPU, bla, bla, bla. If by now, you haven't learned how to tune your system to run FS9 effectively why, you may never be able to do it. Still, all settings being equal, Level-D runs like a gem, while PSS, even the 777 which I really want to like, seems to fall short. Like I said, I'm patient, I'll tweak, patch and wait for the updates to try and get it to work as well as I hope it can.My Two Cents,http://www.my-buddy-icon.com/Icons/objects/red_3d_plane.gifAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
September 6, 200619 yr Man, I've gotta stop typing these long winded posts at work. Little time for proof reading leads to a very difficult post to read (especially when it's long)... I hope you guys got what I was trying to say here.
