I just happened to try a flight out of EDFH. All seems to go well until after setting the parking brake when told to do so by the ramp agent. But after that the guy seems to freeze. Nothing happens and I have to "kill" the program to remove the ground equipment. My aircraft has a bypass pin, and he is supposed to remove the pin after removing the tug, but he justs stands there..

Using P3D v4.5 with QOTS II and FS2Crew. All voice control. No issues in talking to the ground crew using voice. It's just that nothing happens when the ramp agent should remove the pin.

Hello,

Now, just tried the same pushback once more. The only difference was that I pushed in another direction. Now it worked flawlessly. Very strange indeed!

Anyone else experienced this issue?

I have this exact situation, with the new version UGCx v1.7

Win 10/64, P3Dv4.5, PMDG B748, no FS2Crew, only UGCx

When PB to one direction, agent freezes after the tug is disconnected, but nothing happens after that.  PB to the other direction and everything works fine.

It depends of the direction, and i have this situation on payware and default scenery.

Hi William,

Does this help?

Problem: The tug and tow bar disappear, then the ramp agents freeze up.

Solution: If you're using FSUIPC, add the line below to the [GENERAL] section of your FSUIPC.ini located in your MODULES FOLDER.  It should preferably sit underneath the other "zap" lines.

Zapsound=firework

ZapAirRange=1.50

ZapGroundRange=0.25

ZapCylinderAltDiff=0       <------ THIS IS THE NEW LINE

 

If this still doesn't work, backup your FSUIPC.ini file, then delete it, then run Flight Simulator and a fresh new FSUIPC.ini will be built.

Hello Bryan.

Same issue here.

Afterpushback when acknowledging "Set Parking Brake" the Walk Out Assistant acknolowledges with "roger" and then freezes. Pushback Truck remains connected to the Aircraft. Only way out is to kill Operations.

ZapCylinderAltDiff=0 was already inserted in FSUIPC.ini.

I have tested with ZapCylinderAltDiff=0 but it did not help on the airport where i have this problem (was UTAA- cargo position).

In either direction (northerly or southern) the ramp agent freezes after the tug was disconnected from the plane.

But on some other airfields he does his job as expected, even with "ZapCylinderAltDiff=0" not inserted in FSUIPC.ini ...

Can you guys create a video, using a top down view, where I could see the pushback route's waypoints you guys used?, so i could track down what is happening in this scenerio.

Did you ever try deleting your FSUIPC.ini file?

A fresh one will be rebuilt when you load the sim again.

I don't think it's a FSUIPC issue, it's something related with the aircraft's model radius and the route or path used on the pushback...is this a computer generated pushback route or a custom pushback route....because if its a custom pushback route, you can send me out the airport's profile, with the route you are trying out, so I can test it over here....and troubleshot it directly. The UGCX's airport's profiles are located in:

C:\Users\<Your Windows' username>\AppData\Roaming\Ultimate Ground Crew X\Airport Profiles

Inside there is a list of subfolder, each per airport's ID, then inside each Airport's profile, you will find a list of files, one per parking spot, then you just need to find which is the parking spot that you were trying during the issue, so I can try out the same pushback route, and the route's name.

It is really random freezing!

Today again on UTAA, same cargo stand, same direction and same airframe as last time, and no freeze !?

I used computer defined PB-scenario, as usual.
