Okay Phil. With all of nine posts I am not sure you boycotting us will have much visible effect.Just so you know; we haven't kept any secrets. AVSIM was only made aware of this at this weekend's conference in which Microsoft and the developers revealed this for the first time. There are such things as Non-Disclosure Agreements between MS and those developers precluding any disclosure of any information related to the subject. Those NDA's appear to be lifted, judging from the amount of talk about the subject at this Convention. Sorry you weren't there to partake. Just so you know, AVSIM never signs NDA's, which in turn protects our objectivity, and we have maintained that policy since our founding. If you believe that to be a bad thing, then you don't really want to hang out here. But thanks for your opinion, in any case.EDIT: Not to put too fine a point on it, we have just found out about this evolution in the relationship between MS and developers this weekend. Your expectations that we should be able to write about it at this early date are misplaced.

It turns out I was joking. :-)Lighten up buddy, the news we've received so far is enlightening enough that most of the long standing sim community can read between the lines in terms of what the future now holds.We look forward to your continued participation in the forums. :-)

I miss Avsim traveling as much as I have and being busy with other challenges, but I am "rolling in the aisles" enjoying the way the author's comments have been deftly handled. Regardless of how he feels, I know I am always among friends (even those I don't agree with) and staff of the highest integrity when I visit this site.Regards,John
