Theres no blurries if you fly at 50 mph at really low settings, anything over that and its all washed out. Try flying over a big city and see what happens, 5 fps and it looks like FS 1.

"Theres no blurries if you fly at 50 mph at really low settings, anything over that and its all washed out. All of you can kiss my arse.

You cant just expect everybody to agree with your fantastic performance story. You see what you see on your system, and i see what i see on my system.

Well goober, where in my observation do I state anything fantastic?I said sliders set at medium to medium high, locked at 20 FPS.I'm running an AMD FX60 dual core with 2 gigs RAM and very well tuned. With FSX there are NO add-ons installed to bog the system. If that's "fantastic" then I stand corrected, but I don't think so.I didn't make the post to convince anyone. It was simply an observation on my part. Soooooo,,,,, bite me.

You kids and your vitriol. It's all those violent videogames you are playing these days.Stop fighting and keep it down in here, I'm trying to watch Matlock.

"You kids and your vitriol. It's all those violent videogames you are playing these days.Stop fighting and keep it down in here, I'm trying to watch Matlock";-) Thanks for the compliment. I wish I were a kid, but unfortunately it's about 54 years too late for that.

No name is just jealous because your AMD system is kickin his Intel systems butt. I've been flying the beta for a few weeks now....very smooth. Craig

>You cant just expect everybody to agree with your fantastic>performance story. You see what you see on your system, and i see what >i see on my system. It makes no sense if I say, "I took a bath this morning", and you reply "I disagree".That's exactly the logic you have there when you say, "I disagree". If he saw it, he saw it. Not something that can be "agreed on" or "disagreed on".I think what your REALLY mean to say is, that you don't think he was telling the truth when he said no stutters, no blurries, etc. That is a valid statement...saying "I disagree" is not.RhettAMD 3700+, eVGA 7800GT 256, ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, etc. etc.

Your right, i dont believe it. Sure i can find a place on the planet that doesnt give me blurries or low fps or stutters, to bad its a place with no airports or cities or autogen or clouds. I used the beta for over 60 hours, bigun just downloaded it, yes its a beta and it may all be fixed in the end, who knows. But right now, dont come and tell its all good and bla bla bla, no blurries no stutters, not even if you crank it all to the left, come on.

Some hit me a bit more than others, but blurries haven't been a big problem, not even on my 256MB video card.

When I first read your response, it annoyed me. I don't like being called a liar, even by some moron on the forum.I thought about it for a minute or two and decided that getting angry is foolish. I've been around the forums long enough to know that no matter how innocent or non-confrontational a post is, there are always one or two idiots that try to make an "issue" out of it.The fact of the matter for you "no-name" is your an idiot and a sad excuse for a human. If your life is so sad that the only thing you have to do is make comments about things you so obviously know nothing about, then I feel for you. Tom, I appologize for my tone in this post. I've been a member here for a long time and I have just reached my limit. It has become almost impossible to post on this forum without getting into a P**ssing contest with some clown.See ya

This is Biguns system specs: (at least what he had posted)> "I said sliders set at medium to medium high, locked at 20 FPS.> I'm running an AMD FX60 dual core with 2 gigs RAM and very well > tuned. With FSX there are NO add-ons installed to bog the system."Since it's an FX-60, I'll assume that is DDR-400 RAM, probably an NForce 4 MB, most likely a pretty nice PCI-E graphics card. FX-60's run at 2.6 Ghz dual core IIRC. Now, your system specs: P4EE @ 3.73 Ghz (that's a dual core w/HT tech, IIRC), 2GB of DDR2-533 RAM, and a pretty high end video card.Ok, you would at first glance think you have him smoked. WRONG. FX-60's routinely TROUNCE P4EE's. Remember, while FSX *IS* multithreaded, it's not heavily so and it's VERY CPU dependant. So, it still mainly comes down to single core performance. His memory interface is significantly faster (lower latency, even though its 1/3 less bandwidth), and while his clock speed is lower, FX-60's routinely score 20-40% or more faster in tasks than your P4EE.Hate to say it, you bought the wrong brand chip for that generation...Now, with the new Core2Duo stuff, yeah, Intel is the better chip to get right now.Me: I'm running a A64 4800+X2 (AM2 socket), pair of 7900GT's, 4GB of DDR2-800, and a RAID5 array. I only have the demo and only messed with it briefly, but even with everything cranked to the right it was only moderately choppy and I did zero tweaking and am running old video card drivers (I'm lazy and don't update them very often). Mind you biguns machine is clocked 200 Mhz faster than mine, and has a lower latency memory interface (I'm at CAS4 because I'm on DDR2, he's probably CAS2.5 or 3 on DDR1)So, I totally can see his machine being able to do what he claims. I'm betting there's some Core2Duo owners out there getting just as good performance as well.--2002cbr600f4i

What is the matter with you, you freak out because i and another poster in this thread doesnt agree with you, take a chill pill.

"It has become almost impossible to post on this forum without getting into a P**ssing contest with some clown."You're right George and it seems to be a sign of the times. Saddly, this is among the most civilized forums nowadays. R-
