How Yall' Doin"??BTW...good stuff about FSX here too...I need to load that demo too...Maybe this weekend..Edit: I just read through the "Whole Thread"...lol...Sorry you guys got so worked up...I wonder if it's an ATI vs nVidia thing??...Hope Biggun calms down and comes back...I didn't notice his Videocard('s)...I remember reading when he built(ordered) that system..I may be remembering incorrectly..I'm *Thinkin* he may be running 7800GTX's in SLI...I'm not positive though...Biggun??I don't advertize this...Intentionally...(Ohhh Boy..Another heated debate coming on....)...But...I have a few systems...I'm running a X1900XTX in one of them...And I hate it...Especially with FS9...It looks/performs cruddy compared to my 7950GX2..And my 7800GTX...P.S. Oh BTW...That is only "What I'm seeing...On My System's".. he heIf I get a chance..This weekend I may try and load the FSX Demo..Out of curosity..I'll see if I can do a sort of ATI vs nVidia comparison..Not 100% sure I'll be able to do it this weekend...I hope to though... Tons of Video ram lots of system ram good cpu and hard drive speed. Heck I only have the demo and it runs good on my system which is now way in the same leauge as his.The trick is keep the AI planes 33% Boats and cars 10%. Water down to 1 or under AA of AF on Autogen sparse. Mesh 38 there you go.

Regarding blurries two important points1: they will be a lot better as there will be a CFG entry allocated to texture updating in the release version.2: cap your frames rates lower FPS= sharp 1m textures.I can fly around the demo area with the CRJ cruising at 200knots and I see 1M textures 99% of the time with my Frame rate capped at around 20FPS.Flying with unlimited FPS or a limit that your PC can't handle makes FSX look terrible,far worse than fs9 as i,m sure may of have noticed in the screen shotsThe rules have changed since FS9 ,limit the frame rates and see the difference that FSX brings.John

Thanks guys for normal, sane, and interesting responses to my post.Been playing around some more with the Beta today. The more I poke around, the more I like it. The thing that seems to kill my FR more than anything is Auto Gen. Medium works great. High sinks it. The nice thing is the medium setting gives an incredible amount of auto gen. Far more the max setting on FS9.
