Of course this thread should exist!!

What was done was illegal! No amount of developer or fanboi customer  justification can ever excuse the action that was taken.

New users should be made aware of FSLabs' history to make a fully informed decision before a purchase.

That said, I don't think the A321 should appear in this thread's title. It suggests that the unreleased expansion will have a problem, when no evidence exists to suggest that will be the case.

Dear David @Nyxx,

your line of argument is based on a false understanding of what truly happened.

1. The "Test.exe" was installed on ALL PC's regardless if your copy was legit or not --> this is what the discussion is about

2. Your statement that it was TRIGGERED only by inserting a false key is correct but (see 3)

3. It was triggered also if you by mistake entered a wrong KEY (so even 1 single digits of the key)

Nevertheless they aknowleged the problem and:

1. offered refunds for those who opted to drop FSL support

2. imidiately remowed the spyware

I am one of those who kept the ACFT and also buyed the next available extension to it. FSL products represent the best in class. The immersion, dynamics, sys. depth, etc. are best in class. Super solid programming!

I am able to let that "misshap" slide...

The title is very misleading and suggests that the A321 has anything to do with the test.exe controversy a couple of years ago. It has not even be released yet. Can someone please change this to stop it from stating misinformation.

I did change the title.  I will now close and lock the topic as this has been discussed long enough and it really is not going to go anywhere.  What happened two years ago happened two years ago and does not mean it will happen again.
