December 20, 20196 yr Author This happened much faster than I thought it would - took delivery yesterday! I went with an LG 34UC80. It gets excellent reviews and now I know why. Right out of the box it looks amazing! The big thing is that my concerns regarding a possible loss of performance were all for naught as the GTX1080 handles it easily. P3D on a 21:9 monitor is a huge improvement in immersion compared to my old 1080p 24 incher. Very, very pleased to put it mildly. Thanks again to everyone who chimed in to help with my decision.
