FTX Central 3 to Orbx Central

Yes.

As you must have installed all your Orbx products into the P3D root folder and if you tick the legacy box on the Insertion Point page, Orbx Central will behave in exactly the same way as FTX Central does in respect of all the Orbx products.

This sounds decisive and confident!   Ok...I will install OC today and take the chance.  All of ORBX  is indeed in my main P3d root folder.  I will report back after doing so.

I finally did it.  I downloaded ORBX OC and guess what?

NOTHING BAD HAPPENED!

I'm sorry, ORBX, for bad-mouthing your new OC.  I simply didn't want to risk losing all of your phenomenal (and expensive sometimes) scenery.  It seems to work perfectly based on some of the specific steps I read here on this forum.

So far....so good.   I love the new updates that weren't possible under FTX Central 3 because of the move to OC.

Just one thing:   On the old interface, when I went to the CONFIGURE command, I could specify airports that needed an elevation adjustment.  How is that done under OC?  I don't see that elevation command.

Thanks again, ORBX, and I'm sorry for doubting you.

I think you probably mean the Vector control panel. You can open it on the Vector page, click on Configure.

Oh, OK.  Thanks.

No need to be sorry. The initial release was not ready for everyone. It was still being improved. We spoke and they listened. For that they get our continued support. It's that simple!

Cool. Thanks.

Not really all the truth. Lots of the stories are only from people who had problems on their particular systems for whatever reason.

Didn't do anything untoward to my installation, updated itself to the latest version and gave the option where to install all Orbx products.

No re-ordering required, everything now works perfectly .

Orbx quickly sorted any problems.
