Some of you must have gone through this earlier but I just noticed that all my four FB sceneries are missing buildings. Obviously an ever annoying activation issue. I heard that they have separated from FSDT but I assumed I could continue to use my installed products as normal. There seems to be awful little information about this, but should I uninstall the old versions and reinstall or what. Again a day in flight simulation when the funtime goes down the drain due to middle finger showing addon producers.

Try updating the addon manager. It seems to be causing problems as of late. A few days ago, it shows all my installs as Trial.

 

Thanks, now I lost my FSDT´s as well. Original KSFO changed addon manager to an ancient one. Well, up to re-activating and re-installing and rebooting and re-starting and re-word not allowed off. Actually I manged to get Sky Harbor and St. Paul to function. Washington-Dulles lost ground textures...

I'm confused, why not just email us instead of posting on AVSIM and getting possible wrong answers like the one above? Our support staff responds within 24 hours on weekdays.

Thank you for your answer and concern. The community is often more responsive. Also by this way fellow simmers will get information about possible problems with different addon developers and their products and can judge their buying decisions accordingly. Anyway after 4 hours of computer time I have now sorted almost everything. The only remaining problem is how to activate the original KSFO scenery which the developer declares to be in "no support" state.

So much for support from this developer. I was told that a six year span is enough for a product so take this into consideration when you press the buy button. Of course they keep my money. It is kind of funny that so much effort is spent to guard developers from piracy and yet some of them take it for granted that its up to them how long we can use a product we have paid for. Very regrettable.

I would be glad if someone could point me to information about Flightbeams location or address? Mainly that at which country their 'headquarters" are located.

Or they can form their own opinions about the product, its support and the person choosing  to post at Avsim instead of the developer's support forum. Google will tell you, as it told me, where the company is based.
