February 3, 20206 yr I'm still considering adding this to my hangar, but the low-rez vc cockpit textures are really putting me off. How good/bad are the textures in the vc? The outside looks fine.

But I didn't quite like the color of the panel (I compared it to real photos on the internet) and I changed the color of the panel a little for myself. In addition, I use FSLSpotLights for additional backlighting in the VC. You can see what VC looks in the simulator (P3D4.5) with my fixes in this screen review: Nick Bebyakin / Handmade cameraset - Ezdok v2 and Ezdok v3 EZdok Software. February 3, 20206 yr The internal textures in the FSW are okay in my opinion. They aren't what you'd call low resolution, but FSW has traditionally gone for a very clean look to the interiors which with not having scratches and smudges all over the place, might make you think they are not especially high resolution, which they in fact are and it's more a case of a graphical style which they favour. Having said that, the artwork side of things in FSW's aircraft was traditionally perhaps not their strongest point. A good example of that is when you compare their output to that of Carenado, who are of course known for their pretty texturing, but you find that the FSW ones are way more realistic in terms of systems simulation, and that is the real strong point of all FSW's efforts. Fortunately, a visual fix to textures is easy to do, and many people do this for FSW's products, although in recent months FSW have actually been addressing this themselves too, although largely with exteriors which incorporate PBR, But if that is the only thing preventing you from getting the FSW Falcon, then it's definitely something you can easily change if you like, either by doing this yourself, or installing fancier textures which someone else has made. February 3, 20206 yr Definitely a good aircraft with very good attention to operating detail. FSW paid lots of attention to customers during development. One nice feature is the tire/pavement noise during takeoff....
February 3, 20206 yr Favourite of mine, external graphics are great, cockpit textures are OK (as Chock said "You get used to them") although not quite as good as the Lear in my opinion. Good integration with RXP/F1 GTN and Milviz Weather Radar, systems are good and developer is responsive and still updating it. If you're flying short range and don't care about fuel burn then it is pretty quick as well. G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
