Hi Guys,

Recently I've done a complete restore of Windows 10 and installing chaseplane through Orbx Central I've noticed I've lost all my presets.  I just assumed from last time I did a reinstall, my presets were saved in the cloud and then re-loaded when I reinstalled the product.

Has this process changed?  If so, is there anyway of retrieving my presets?

Best regards,

Mark

The //42 version of CP no longer uses the cloud system. That’s why we recommend you store your Presets Library on a cloud storage system.

you can still reinstall the OldProp version of CP from the OldProp website by downloading VFXCentral. This will load your previous collection from the Cloud. You can then do the migration again.

We made a press article about it here: https://medium.com/@parallel42/about-chaseplane-community-67f1f4a8d7af

Whats even more annoying is now they dont even bother looking at the orbx support forumn, theres 2 or 3 month old unanswered support topics,  and  for example there is no QW787 profiles on the drop box account.

rubbish support.

I’ve been totally unaware of this change since I rarely visit the ORBX forum. Wouldn’t it have been better if the user was notified when the application was launched given how critical your saved profiles are?

Looking at this link - it mentions presets and a folder structure - but doesn't mention how to actually export our own presets - any ideas ?

I’ve just checked my files and can find no folders named by aircraft. Just a parent one named 0.4.0 and under that a Regions folder containing thousands of tiny files.

I really want to backup these important files so a readme pinned in a suitable ORBX folder would be very helpful.
