Hm, that Piper Cub is gonna be pretty crowded... 😄 😄 😄 We have Heidi as a live passenger in the A2A Cub. It would be nice if we could get something similar in any aircraft. We had live passengers (but no 3D models) in Microsoft Flight. Upon entering the Maule, "Hm, cozy in here." On a sightseeing tour in the Stearman, "Can we land somewhere? I really need to go." Depending on how soon you land you'd get either profuse thanks or "Never mind." I guess I'll check out MCE. Good thing I never decided to stop buying addons for P3D. 😄 Thanks for the heads up, @Chock Hook Larry Hookins Oh! There's a good reason for that too.. MCE is no doubt a solid addon but my experience with many addons that I purchased is to have 1) installing, setting and making sure no conflict is happening with other addons 2) to run multiple instances as well as the simulator itself and 3) The usability of the Addons is not always as friendly or seamless with the simulator usability. For example, Asobo`s preview of their interactive checklist in the cockpit video shows a very interesting interaction / usability and a GUI system that is part of the simulator usability philosphy and not as something coming from a different usability and GUI planet/philosophy and that is grafted onto the simulator experience. But of course, this does not mean these addons are not good. They were innovative and added a lot of value to the simulator... ________________________________LEBOR SIMULATIONSScenery for Flight Simulators since 1998
February 27, 20206 yr Commercial Member As the FS2Crew developer who makes crew simulations for FSX and P3D, my position is if Asobo makes a crew simulation it'll be very simplified and geared toward the mass of the market. They're not going to be diving deep into the Airbus FCOM and FCTM to model every little nuance possible. They'll likely save the niche-of-the-niche stuff that appeals to 1 percent of all users for 3rd party developers like us. Moreover, voice Control is actually quite complex, and I'd be surprised to see them go down that route, if anything because Voice Control can be a bit support intensive. My hope with shared cockpits and virtual checklists in FS2020 is that the average Joe user starts liking the idea of multi crew flying, and then they start looking to go more advanced into it, and then they turn to developers like us to fill the void.
