Hi Kevin, Use the Orbx Autogen definitions in main Autogen folder and put an extra Autogen folder with the addon definition files next to the scenery and texture folder from each scenery addon that has custom definitions. Add the Autogen folder to the Addon xml entry where there is Scenery and Texture. Here I use Orbx, FranceVFR, FlyTampa and other custom definition files together and it works like a charm. Regards, Gerard I still use the Autogen Configuration Merger for marrying ORBX, France VFR and a few others in 4.5. However, in a new installation I would do it exactly that way (given it still works in 5.0). April 9, 20206 yr I should add I use SimStarter where ACM runs completely in the background without visual restart of the sim, so it's completely transparent without any annoying restart. Despite, your method is certainly the better one to be used for future installations from scratch. April 9, 20206 yr How would I avoid custom autogen in (for example) France VFR updating the main autogen folder during installation? When you say "put an extra autogen folder with the addon definition files next to the scenery and texture folder", do you mean in the same sub folder as the Scenery and Texture folders for that particular addon? Regards, Gerard Sounds good...but I'm not sure I follow. Can you add a screen shot showing the extra folders, etc.? That would help me understand. I have read the tutorial link you pasted several times...I suppose it is easier than it appears. But, a screenshot of your setup might help me. April 9, 20206 yr I think I will stick with what I have for now. The information in Gerard's link sounds too complicated.
