December 5, 20205 yr Getting rid of the default buildings/scenery objects and the default taxi signs is done by opening the ADE, choosing Tools -> Load Stock Data, and then tick the scenery object and taxi sign boxes and execute. Then go to "Lists" and in both scenery objects and taxi signs, sort by the value "IsStock", mass select all for which that value is "True" and then "delete" (there were over 700 signs on the default airfield). This creates a tiny exclude for each of the deleted objects in the ADE. The v5 signs are in different places than the FSX/P3Dv1-4 default signage, so the excludes that were created for the original scenery don't line up with the v5 objects in many cases, and they will peek through since they are not being excluded. Save out the ADE and compile, and replace the existing ADE with the one you compiled. Voila, no more default buildings or signs. The iniBuilds GSX and dynamic lights mods, plus this ADE fix puts KMCO back on the map in V5...it works quite well, in fact. December 6, 20205 yr There's something you might want to check if you used the inibuilds KMCO exclude.bgl and you fly the NGXu. When I used that AFCAD, it cause a problem with the Airport Map on the EFB. I was using that AFCAD, and landed at KMCO. I tried to use the airport map on the EFB to taxi to my assigned gate, which was gate 43. As I made the last turn into the ramp, I looked at the gate numbers on the building and realized that I was on the wrong airside ramp. It appears as though the inibuilds exclude AFCAD is showing the gate numbers for the default KMCO instead of the T2G one. I suspect that whoever made it mixed up the steps when doing the process W6KD mentioned a couple of posts back. To see if you have the issue, load up the NGXu at gate 43. Turn on the IRSs and do the POS INIT screen on the FMS so the NGXu knows where it is. Then, go to the airport map on the EFB and see if it shows that you are actually sitting at gate 43. My bet is that you are going to see that it says you are sitting near gate 22 on the map. That's why I ended up making my own, which was pretty easy using the process W6KD posted above.
