If I have both P3d 4.5 and P3d 5.0 on my computer (different SSD's), how do I share my ORBX Library so that both sims can access it and use it?

I hope there's a way.

I guess (!) that isn't possible because when updates come they may be different between v4 and v5 so they can't share one folder.

Its possible with „virtual path” on ORBX v5 folder but its true. Some updates will be dedicated only for v4 some for v5.

I cleared up tons of disk space and orbx ate it right back up. I guess I’ll have to ditch v4 sooner rather than later.

Don't worry, guys, I am in the same boat. My ORBX folder is 630 GB and I am investigatiing options. I have a number of other sims (FSX, XP11, AeroflyFS2 and one more not to name) on 3 SSDs and don't want to add more disk space so it may come down to Jason's proposal sooner or later.

I did that last night with a simple link for all orbx addon inside their library

If you don’t keep p3d V4 yes but in case you don’t and don’t take extra data on your hdd create some links are the best solution

Thanks I was going to try something like this. My only concern is if there’s any compatibility issues between v4 and v5 sceneries. So far it doesn’t appear that there’s anything major. But it’s probably a better idea to point v4 toward a v5 scenery than the other way around.
