Can someone, maybe even @Virtuali, kindly tell me why is that when I was flying a PMDG 74708i BA World Cargo plane last night, and I deliberately chose to go the UK2000 EGLL Cargo hangars upon landing, GSX (L1+L2) decides, 'no I'll take you to the Heavy gate' just as I shut down and was about to ask the GSX Menu to deboard. What sort of absurdity is this with GSX?

Does GSX still think it's a pax airliner somehow? Is it coded as a cargo plane in the aircraft.cfg ? No idea, just a question. 

GSX doesn't "take you" anywhere! GSX never tries to assign your airplane anywhere, and when the "Warp me" feature is used, it's YOU that are supposed to select which parking you want to go to, on a list allowing ALL parking spots in the scenery.

It's a PMDG aircraft, so I naturally assume it is, Mark, seeing the BA livery came from their OC.

GSX surely knows if a plane it's cargo or not and, of course, being the flexible program it is, allows users to specify this, in case a specific airplane variation is not included in the GSX intrernal database. This only affect the kind of vehicles and stairs used.

It doesn't have any effect on the choice of parking, since nowhere GSX ever "choose" a parking for you. GSX always present a list of ALL available parking in an airport, and the USER is free to choose every parking from that list, assuming it's not occupied by an AI, and it's large enough for the selected airplane.

Under no circumstances GSX ever selects a parking automatically, let alone moves the airplane there on its own.

must be  some  issues  at  your  end   since   when  selecting a  gate  you  select  it,  not  the  other  way   round  gsx  doesnt  tell  you  where  to park

Actually that would be a feature i would like to see in GSX: after landing GSX (or PATC etc.) will pick a GATE / Parking spot for me so i don't have to choose myself.

I'm an lazy word not allowed, this is what computers are for: easing my life 😉
