The new installer is adding the window lines to the -400 model panel config and works fine, but for me it is not adding it to the -8 one.

Should it be creating it in both?

Are you using FSX or P3D?

Remember that FSX does not support the 8 models... Only P3D does...

I am using p3d v5 hf1.

Using P3D v5 and it's not present in the -8

Okay, it looks like our Config Manager got tripped up with the 8 models.

We'll release an update shortly.

If you're absolutely dying to use the 8 models, you can manually copy the FS2Crew Window entries from the 400 to the 8's panel.cfg.

Okay, this has been fixed.

Version 1.6A is now current.

Login to your FS2Crew account.

Re-download and re-install.

You need to "Cycle" the enable/disable button on the Config Manger if you already enabled FS2Crew.

That'll get the entries on the 8 model again.
