July 19, 20205 yr Never had this happen in my old computer, but with my new build, this pops up every time I launch P3D v5. How can I fix this problem to get rid of this warning? But that doesn't seem to be the issue. July 19, 20205 yr Author I did, and it says to right click on Prepar3D.exe and check run as admin, which I have already done so and it still pops up every time I launch the sim. How can I fix this problem to get rid of this warning? Just ignore it. Uncheck it and go on. It only occurs when you install a new repaint or such. It's just a formality, it doesn't do anything. However, always start P3D with administrator rights. Then it will ignore that issue as well. Lee Edited July 19, 20205 yr by Midnight Music Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
July 19, 20205 yr Have you right clicked on P3Dv5 shortcut then the bottom properties then in compatibilities checked run as administrator and save, P3Dv5 is now set to run as administrator by default. Raymond Fry.
July 19, 20205 yr Author It's working now thanks. It's because the shortcut I made at the time when P3D.exe wasn't configured to run as admin. I recreated the shortcut and now it's working.
