Again no 🙂. On-line services (scenery, weather, traffic, multiplayer) was presented as an integral parts of MSFS from the beginning. Never nobody said, if pay only one-time, you get an incomplete game. Most of people here understood correctly, that subscription will not be required. But I see, not all 🙂.

If Microsoft haven't said anything we can assume no for the moment, we just buy the sim everything else is free. My only speculation is about post launch charts but again nothing official has been mentioned this is purely my opinion.

Maybe "included in price" is the more accurate description, than "free" 🙂. And we shouldn't to forget, that MS will get some fee from every sold add-on via built-in market in MSFS. So nobody must afraid, that MS will donate us with on-line services, if subrcription willn't be required.

The DVD set, not the download as far as I know. The DVD are an Aerosoft initiative . They are sold by Amazon or Simmarket as sub-retailers.

And even then, the DVD are already pressed so you will have to connect to MS if you want the corrections made until  the 8/18th.

I think because, that the same discuss was here in many times, from the first announcement of MSFS and then for each of an on-line feature, which was introduced 🙂. But it's OK 🙂.

I dont think the charts will be free.. but they arent part of the sim so its separate from the subscription question.

I can't believe that EVEN after the pricing and preorders for the game has been released, this question just does not seem to die. I bet someone will still ask about subscriptions even after release

They never said they hadn’t decided yet. They just wouldn’t talk pricing during alpha. A subscription fee was always an AVSIM conspiracy theory.
