Looking at squirrels Night VFR video (which is utterly stunning!) i can see some heavy stuttering while just airborne and on short finals. Would this be because of Scenery streaming or is this more related to video capturing?

In one of the videos I watched (can‘t remember which one) they said it‘s because of the recording. That‘s a great video indeed. The only thing that doesn‘t look that great is the autogen popping (Canary Wharf skyscrapers) when he’s on the final.

And its even one of the first video in which the sim looks very smooth (except from those stutters i mentioned).

I have seen tons of footage of the new flight simulator in recent days and I am very pleased with what I have seen so far.

Although there is room for improvement and it is far from perfect, that actually pleases me. I see it as an opportunity to continue supporting the many 3rd party developers that have enhances our flight simulators over the years. So many of these talented devs have already expressed their interest in developing products for the new sim.

Not saying Asobo isn't a talented team, I just think that the add-ons offered by Orbx, Flightbeam and others will still have an edge over the handcrafted airports. Also, aircraft from PMDG, Aerosoft, QualityWings and other aircraft devs will still have great value in the new simulator. For me at least.

I think I will be doing a lot of VFR flying over the next year or so as I am going to purchase the standard version of the game and slowly improve the sim with add-ons.

VERY EXCITING TIMES 😃

Froogle seems to like MFS now, too.

One of the best videos yet.

Here is a short flight over Munich, which - no surprise - also looks amazing in most parts.
