Did they only give copies to people that know nothing about flying or what? Its been so painful watching the testers do 'Flights' without touching any buttons in the cockpit.

There was a signup for content creators, I doubt they vetted to make sure all of them could actually fly, since this is being made for both sim users and the casual users.

At most they probably just checked how many subscribers they had.

Some tester are really flightsim beginners, as you look at their pilot skills hahahaha

Hey everyone started somewhere.  I started the joy of aviation with FS4.0 - I'm now a rw pilot and air traffic controller.

Scalability was an aspect where the old Microsoft Flight Simulator Series excelled. You could start with a simple GA plane (me in FS4.0, too) and, while not everyone makes it to a RW pilot, step up to a virtual 747 captain within the same ecosystem.

The new MFS may have a few raw edges, but the developers underlined this goal several times and in my view met it very well.

Kind regards, Michael

Definitely.  I think MS' marketing is spot on.  I've got my own kids now and they're starting to understand how the world works... they also look up to the sky (when I do LOL) at airplanes!  Come to think of it....my oldest is about the same age I was when I started using FS.

The flight dynamics, weather, graphics... absolutely outstanding. *******!

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

I'm always happy to see AFProud95. I know he's not everyone's cup o' tea, but he cracks me up and has a lot of fun simming. And that fuel truck wigging out on the tarmac had me laughing for quite a while.

He's quite a character and I find him very entertaining, but he also seems to really know his piloting stuff at the same time.  I watch AFP95 all the time too.

Is that Harrison Ford making FS videos for IGN..?
