Interesting pre release videos

Featured Replies

Here's a thread where we can put some interesting footage of the pre release MSFS.

I will start with this one, showing 10 airports with surroundings. Best presentation I have seen yet.

Wait... Is old Kai Tak Airport in MSFS at release?

This is my favorite AP to fly heavies into in FSX and P3D!

Concerned about some physics from what I've seen. Improper gear strut compression on landing, no wing flex. Hmm.

There is wing flex but it is very subtle.

Another nice one, showing lots of stuff we were questioning, like how close to reality the AI autogen is.

Remember, these are default (!) Aircraft.
I see this Simulator as a base and it has so much potential. I am really excited about the coming years.

Finally got to see more airports, up close and personal.  Looks great for default.

Agree really great in the main esp for a default sim.

Only thing I'm noticing is the mesh really isn't high res in some places. Lukla; mountains seem rounded compared to real life and other areas too look very rounded. Not sure why this is - otherwise it's more cost to buy a better mesh -if and when one is even available of course.

Only guessing but not sure if the mesh in some places is even at 76m. For me that would dampen the enjoyment at any rate.

Haven't checked, but I doubt they included a decommissioned airport.
