Please look at your CVR log to see what the speech system is 'hearing'.

The system could be hearing "Start engines four and three" even though you thought you said "start engine three".

In the video she responds with “Starting three” when I say “Start engine three” … I believe she says “Starting four and three” if you say the other thing.

I think I may see the problem.

Are you announcing the Start Sequence?

Try it without announcing the start sequence.

OK, I did it again, without saying "Start Sequence". When I told her to start #1, she started both #1 and #4 (#4 was already running). Then the mode sequenced to Before Taxi Procedure even though I still had to start #2 and #3.

Same here after a fresh and clean install on a new system ( P3D v4, most current version / FS2CREW 1.7 ). 

Start sequence was announced as "start sequence is 4 and 3, then 2 and 1".

Happens on every startup with the -400 and -8.

Happened on my old system as well all the time.

Not totally sure I follow if but if you say:

start sequence is four and three then two and one

you'd then say this:

start engines four and three

start engines two and one

 

4 and 3 will start at the same time.   2 and 1 will start at the same time.

 

 

Yes, and as soon as I say „start 2 and 1“ the F/O pulls the start switch for no. 4 as well, although it‘s already running.

Happens also if I start only one engine at a time ( one after one ).

What do you see in the Green Bar?
