August 15, 20205 yr Hopefully, this is the right forum for this question. I am operating a new installation of P3D (v4,5), with four ORBX products installed (inside P3D: - NA Pacific Northwest; - Global open LC North America; - Global BASE Pack. And; - Global Vector. All report to being engaged in the Scenery section, and they are prioritized at the top of the list scenery elements (in the above order). The problem is that operating the sim, none of the ORBX scenery are operating. I confirmed this by "unchecking" them in Scenery and running the sim without them -- no change versus when they are "checked". Does anyone have an idea on what I'm doing wrong? Many thanks, Brian
August 16, 20205 yr Were the Orbx add-ons installed after the new installation of P3Dv4.5, or were they left in place from a previous installation prior to upgrading? Are the Orbx scenery libraries installed? Many thanks, Brian Are you sure.... go to Bowerman and check with and without PNW enabled. Edit.. and indeed make sure the Orbx libraries are installed. Edited August 16, 20205 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
August 16, 20205 yr Author Thank you both for your notes. I tried Bowerman as suggested, both with and without the P3D orbs related addons "engaged". Both appeared identical, although oddly, the trials with the orbx elements "engaged" took longer to load up. As for the Orbx libraries being installed, are you referring to them appearing in the P3D scenery library? If so, yes they are all there. They also appear in the ORBX Central app. Finally, Orbx was installed after p3d was installed. Both were installed into a new windows install. Orbx is currently set to have the element installed inside of P3D. I haven't tried selecting to have them installed in an external directory. Any advise or thoughts? Regards, Brian

August 16, 20205 yr Author Hello Bert, Just the single install of P3D. And nothing else on the pc outside of the sim. It really isn't making sense to me! Thanks for your putting some thought to it though, Brian
August 16, 20205 yr Bowerman Rwy 24 without and with PNW Edited August 16, 20205 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
August 16, 20205 yr There is also a freeware Orbx Bowerman airport available which provides yet more detail.. but the above screenshots are P3D V4.5 with just Orbx Global, NA LC, and PNW. Bert
August 16, 20205 yr Hi, Just to verify the install, you can select the Verify files option from Orbx Central for anyone one of those sceneries you have installed. This will check for any anomalies.Click on one of the sceneries within Orbx Central and along with the Configuration button for that scenery you should have a Verify option. If this doesnt detect any issues, there is also another option named Synch Simulator in the Orbx Central Setitjns page that has been known to cure some problems like this. Give that a go if you havent tried this already. August 16, 20205 yr With a new install were you asked for a link folder for ORBX mine is on F drive as C4 tends to want to install outside the sim. like ORBX scenery libraries are now. Raymond Fry.
August 17, 20205 yr Author Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going through them to see if anything resolves the situation. I'll report back either way, Best regards, Brian
