Same problem here. Gsync dosen't seem to work for me in MSFS. Works fine in other games.

You have to force it on using nvidia inspector.

Turning it on in NVCP doesn’t work?

Nope. Tried that, only way for it to activate was by forcing on in nvidia inspector.

Most Gsync monitors cannot go below 48 Hz and if the game runs at less than 48 fps Gsync will not work...

Looks like it is already on globally

Make sure you force it on in there, so that it looks like my picture. The text should turn black.

I just had to restart after I installed the game it seems. Now it works even with the global settings 🙂

It worked for me once and then it didn't work. It's temperamental. I'll try a restart.

Just a quick comeback on this now I’ve finally got home to install MSFS: gsync worked fine from nvcp here, no need to muck around with nvinspector.

I figured it out, MSFS full screen mode is fake full screen, so I had to enable G-Sync in windowed mode too....

Oh, makes sense, I always enable both.

Thanks for this thread- I can't seem to get my GSYNC to work, despite enabling it for windowed apps too. I have a real-time framerate counter on my monitor, and it will always dance at least a LITTLE bit with every GSYNC app. I should note that I'm using the "GSYNC Compatible mode", as this is actually a FreeSync monitor (with a GTX 1080 driving it). No other apps have this issue- only FS 2020.

Are you guys 100% sure that GSYNC is working for you? It's almost as if the rendered framerate is decoupled from what is actually sent to the monitor in this game, which is super weird.

Try and ‘force it on’ via nvidia inspector. That normally gets it working.

Tried this- I also found your image and got it to look exactly the same. Even rebooted to be sure. No change. The VRR window of my monitor is something like 45 Hz to 75 Hz, so I wanted to double-check that the game's FPS was in the window, and it is. Somewhere around 58ish. My monitor, however, shows it pegged at 75 Hz. So Adaptive Sync is absolutely NOT working here.

Can you guys please try turning on the refresh rate indicator on your monitor OSDs? Almost any monitor that supports adaptive sync should have one. Just to make sure I'm not going crazy here :). I think the game is broken in this regard.
