August 18, 20205 yr Blown away by out of the box performance. Yes, there are a couple of bugs, but compared to FSX launch flying is smooth (not checked FPS but it feels buttery smooth so far after an hour of UK flying) rather than a slideshow. Flying on i8700k @4.8 and RTX2700 16GB RAM. Does anyone have some missing ATC voices? I hear some radio transmissions, but for others I just hear the mike click but no voice. Presuming I'm missing some windows voice packs? Also, does anyone know where the logbook entries are stored and if we can delete flights? FS2020 is going to be a great base/platform to build on for many years to come. Happy flying.
August 18, 20205 yr I think the Azura server is overrun with so many users at the moment. It can only process text to voice every now and then. I have tyhe same issue. I hear the sqwuak, not no voice most of the time. You can set the ATC to be a local text to speech but its not as good. Specs: Win10, 4790K, nVidia 1080ti, Saitek Yoke+Quadrant+Radio/Switch and AP panels, VRInsight 737 overhead, Virtual Avionics 737 MCP. 3 x 1440*900 main display + 1024*600 VDU display. NLR V3 Motion seat. Oculus DK2 CV1 HTC Vive VR headsets.

August 18, 20205 yr I installed the US language pack in Windows 10 and only get occasional voice outputs. Most of the time i just hear a microphone click and I have to open the ATC tab manually to check it.
August 18, 20205 yr I have the same problem. Not only I don't hear ATC, the under titles with ATC also flash past too fast to read. Installing the US language didn't help. August 18, 20205 yr I have this very issue and have been searching for a remedy, however this seems to be the only site with a complaint. Azure ATC causes the ATC voices and the subtitles to skip and flash past too quickly to read on screen. Switching to offline ATC works, but the voices seem to be very robotic. I hope there is a fix for this soon.
August 19, 20205 yr I thought i read somewhere that you need to put the us voicepack on top if you have more than 1 voicepack installed. I have 3, and even though US is set as my speech language, i see that UK english is set on top. I cannot move them. How do I put the US on top? August 19, 20205 yr Go to Language in the Settings and in the Preferred Languages section you should see all the ones you have installed. Click on English (United States) and up and down arrows will become visible which will allow you to move it up to the top.

August 20, 20205 yr What about additional voice packs? I purchased a handful of them for use with Pilot2ATC and they worked fine there. In FS2020, I’m only hearing 1 voice and all others are just mic clicks like others are reporting. I’d like to be able to hear/use the additional voices I purchased. How and where do I verify FS2020 is seeing those voices? I’m using live ATC if that makes a difference ... but also where do I find models for the Live AI? I had an A380 parked next to me at KPDX (home airport) and I assure you, no A380 would or will ever fly into KPDX as it’s not equipped to handle. We should be interacting as if we will be sitting next to each other on the flight deck, not grade school bullies.
