Well I started this thread almost one year ago, so it's time for an update. I have done pretty good with the sim and am now comfortable with just about everything. It did take some getting used to, but the scenery is outstanding. It's kind of like how I felt transitioning from the C-119 to the C-97 all those years ago. I am very happy with the program now, but still think the UI stinks. Looking forward to more updates.

Great update!!  Glad to hear you stuck with it and are reaping the rewards!  Now the real question, have you tried the DC-6?

No, I am desperately seeking a good DC'3/C-47, my favorite FS plane. I fly with DC3airways.net virtual airlines with a bunch of like minded guys. Several of us have MSFS but no plane to use for our Multi Player live flights, so we have to keep using FSX  P3D, and XPlane. I have found a couple free ones, but in early h case there are a lot of problems with them. Hoping someone comes up with one that works.

The DC6 is spectacular, not a tail dragger but absolutely exceptional representation of the genre
