August 19, 20205 yr All, In FSX, this feature was so easy. We would click on the map and change the altitude. I usually did this when slewing around a city at 3,000 feet. I'm unable to find this feature after 48 hours. Thanks in advance. Tim
August 19, 20205 yr There's no way to teleport via a map like in FSX. Slew is still there though, and you can quickly change altitude with that.
August 20, 20205 yr Author Community, Has anyone been able to figure this out? I'm wondering if there's a utility out there to help with this problem. Tim

August 20, 20205 yr What about just grabbing your yoke an throttle and flying to the desired altitude like in the real world?
August 21, 20205 yr Author Good point. Sometimes I'll stall in the air and need some 'help' to get the plane back up at a reasonable altitude. Tim
August 21, 20205 yr Tim, the reason you're stalling is too much back pressure is being applied on the yoke/joystick. Check the best rate of climb for the aircraft you fly and trim for the indicated speed in the climb phase. As an example, the 152 has a best rate of climb of around 67 knots indicated airspeed. The important thing is to never let your airspeed approach stall speeds.
