August 20, 20205 yr Hello from Glasgow, Scotland. Stumbled across this forum by accident. I’m a Flight Sim beginner like I’m sure a lot of new members are as of late, thanks to FS2020. Really excited to learn more about flying and flight simming in general. Plan on having some “study time” where I’ll do some watching/reading, and then also some flying time where I try to put what I’ve learned into practice and just get more experience flying. And having fun, first and foremost. “Squirrel” and his tutorial series has been incredibly useful so far, and the Aviator 90 series has also been recommended as a good place to start. Don’t really know if my study/flying approach is correct, but hopefully I can give myself a bit of structure and some goals to work towards 🙂 Anyway that’s probably too much for an intro - hopefully see some folk around on the forums!

Note that there are various sub forums on AVSIM - congrats on posting first in the new members forum! The mods will guide you should you post in the "wrong" forum (they only bite when they really, really need to! ) - it's all a big new learning exercise. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
