Cautious hello!

Hello from Glasgow, Scotland.

Stumbled across this forum by accident. I’m a Flight Sim beginner like I’m sure a lot of new members are as of late, thanks to FS2020. Really excited to learn more about flying and flight simming in general. Plan on having some “study time” where I’ll do some watching/reading, and then also some flying time where I try to put what I’ve learned into practice and just get more experience flying. And having fun, first and foremost.  “Squirrel” and his tutorial series has been incredibly useful so far, and the Aviator 90 series has also been recommended as a good place to start. Don’t really know if my study/flying approach is correct, but hopefully I can give myself a bit of structure and some goals to work towards 🙂

Anyway that’s probably too much for an intro - hopefully see some folk around on the forums!

Forget a cautious hello. Just give a full blown HELLO!

Welcome to AVSIM! Any questions, just ask away. Note that there are various sub forums on AVSIM - congrats on posting first in the new members forum!

Yes, various sub forums - one for the new sim, others for third party developer's products, one for hardware discussion. All kinds. Just ask away. The mods will guide you should you post in the "wrong" forum (they only bite when they really, really need to!) - it's all a big new learning exercise.

Welcome aboard!  If you’re having fun then it’s the correct approach to flight simming 🙂
