August 21, 20205 yr A simple question I know.........................but I read somewhere that the Windows key + G was what enabled the FPS reading...................but that does not work for me. What do I need to do to read my FPS? Thanks in advance. George Westwell
August 21, 20205 yr I use fraps...has not failed me since 2005. It's a simple .exe you run and it will overlay the FPS onto the sim. https://fraps.com/download.php I find the gamerbar (Windows + G) too distracting!
August 21, 20205 yr The sim has this built-in but you need to enable 'Developer Mode'. It's available in the Settings (General) menu, under it's own heading. Once enabled, you'll notice a tool bar available at the top. Click on 'Options' and then under 'Rendering' you'll see an option to 'Display FPS'.

August 21, 20205 yr If you have an Nvidia card, go into GeForce Experience under Settings and turn on In-Game Overlay. Click the settings button for that and then click HUD layout. Click FPS Counter and put it in the position on the screen to the right where you want it (top left, top right, etc...).
August 21, 20205 yr Also you can measure frames using Windows Menu key + G when you enable Windows Game Bar. You can then set your preferences as desired. I happen to have an X Box controller for views and it works great with the Drone camera but also I can assign the FPS toggle to the main button on the controller. The pop up gives CPU, GPU, RAM usages as well as FPS. If you click on FPS it shows a moving log of the frames as well.
