August 23, 20205 yr For the ones, who prefer offline flying with atc, Pilot2atc; which is a very good tool for air traffic control including speech recognition, detailed flight planning and a moving map, is working with MFS2020 via FSUIPC7. I tested and seems to be working fine. But, as I realised, apart from Pilot2atc, FSUIPC is causing dramatic FPS drops. I hope this will be fixed in the near future. I wanted to share this info to whom it may concern. Happy flying... Intel i7-9700K - AMD 7900 XT (VRAM 20GB) - 32 Gb Ram - SSD Drive - Win10 x64 - Samsung 43" 4K TV - Quest 3 VR

December 16, 20205 yr I thought pilot2atc used sim connect and there was no need for FSUIPC running...?

Clumsy has a good video detailing the setup. I've had few problems with it, not even frame drops. -C Ryzen 7 5800X3D, EVGA RTX3080 FTW3 Ultra, 64GB DDR4 @3600MHz MSFS, XP11, XP12, DCS, IL-2, Falcon BMS, LMNOP
December 16, 20205 yr The FPS drops were caused by the issues in SimConnect in the early release version, no longer applicable, Pilot2ATC working fine with MFS2020.

Do you have the proper descent rate set in the top left corner before you file your flight plan? I believe that box changes the TOD distance from final destination. If I recall correctly, you can't directly change the TOD point except by changing descent rate. I've forgotten to set that before and have been fine by requesting descent from ATC. -C Ryzen 7 5800X3D, EVGA RTX3080 FTW3 Ultra, 64GB DDR4 @3600MHz MSFS, XP11, XP12, DCS, IL-2, Falcon BMS, LMNOP
December 17, 20205 yr Also if you have a star assigned many times the only altitude decent request for be "decend via the assigned star which will have the altitude restrictions already assigned regards Denwagg Steam MSFS 2020. December 17, 20205 yr Here is a link for flight from Congonhas to Rio in the Longitude using Pilot2 ATC. I busted sid altitude restrictions so Im probably going to be grounded.
