September 9, 20205 yr I heard GTA had many bugs upon release. Or if you take games with few bugs like a Racing game, where everything happens on a limited track less than a mile wide, or FIFA football where the universe is a small rectangle. Easy puding I would like to know if anyone knows of a game with the similar complexity of MSFS. When you compare a car with just a speedometer to a cockpit with Garmin etc, plus real weather, plus simulating gravity and forces, scenery. And if there is such a similar complex game...did it have bugs upon release? I believe its impossible not to see bugs on a complex game like this one, (unless you want to spend ten years in the making) , because the fastest way to solve the bugs is to release early so all the bugs can be quickly compiled and reported by millions of users. So its a strategy. They release it early so the bugs can be dealt earlier. alpha/beta are useful for functionality and gross errors. The refinement of thousands of bugs are better seen after realese Edited September 9, 20205 yr by kapitan

Even with a large beta test audience, there are literally millions of different PC devices out there which this software can and will run on, with each one of those having all kinds of different hardware, devices, drivers, programs running simultaneously, different OS patches and settings etc, etc. The chances of having zero issues when releasing something as complex as a flight simulator which can be installed on that many different devices, is pretty much non-existent. September 9, 20205 yr I think there is merit to those complaining that MSFS was released unfinished. For example, I'm a bit irritated that key features of the G3000 haven't been implemented, and with autumn foliage right around the corner, my immersion is about to take a serious hit as FS continues to give me green trees right into the dead of winter. However, I can personally live with all this half-baked stuff as long as the game is still "in the oven" at Asobo and they truly do plan to finish what they started in the coming months. Even half-baked, MSFS is incredibly enjoyable to me, so I'm glad to have it "early" while the developers finish it (fingers crossed). Edited September 9, 20205 yr by Keto Ketchup
