Does anyone know where I can find some liveries for the c172 '6 Pack" Edition (non G1000,)

I downloaded the Liveries packages and dropped the livery folders into my community folder, but the liveries do not show up in the menu.

Any ideas?

You might need to take them out of the unzipped folder.

"I dropped livery folders" not zip files. Maybe I need to look for them in a different location in the Menu?

Wouldn’t have thought so. Some add ons unzip a folder containing other folders so MSFS can’t find them. Same problem as XP has.

Thanks. I found them in the world section. 

Now I'd like some for the c172.

The "six pack" model cannot be modified.  Files are encrypted because it is a premium aircraft.  Nothing but the standard aircraft can be modified right now.

We can make liveries for the non-standard aircraft, have been for about a week or so now.

There's several standalone 787 liveries out.

Using this method you can add liveries to the non-standard aircraft without having to access to their aircraft.cfg file.

If the livery is set up to use the new system, yes.

For the megapack?  yes there is right here https://www.msfsaddons.org/freeware/liveries-manager  Found this the other day and it lets you see all the liveries for each aircraft in the pack and choose what you want.  It basically recompiles the package and creates a custom one for you.  I used it to rip out most of the A320 stuff that I'll never fly, but left in the AI skins.  Now my liveries pages are a lot more manageable.  Also left out the aircraft I just plain don't plan to fly in for now.

This is the newest version, which is a drag and drop install method so you're not forced to download every single livery.
