September 19, 20205 yr I don't see any tug car/truck when I ask for pushback. Is it modeled?. Using P3Dv4.5hf3, but it's not working as expected. The manual says "It may take several seconds for the default tug to reach and connect to the aircraft, so be patient!": being patient, but the airplane starts moving alone without being actually pushed by any tug, or at least it can't be "seen". What's wrong here?. September 19, 20205 yr Could it possibly be a setting in the P3D options limiting the number of airport vehicles? Just an idea worth trying. Seems to work okay in the new MSFS. Alan Bradbury Check out my youtube flight sim videos: Here

Could you kindly give an example, i.e. airport and gate, on which there's a default tug available, just to test it?. Please also show your sliders for objects or scenery details to help a bit more, did not find a mention to this in the manual so I don't know if's important or not. I'm using P3Dv4.5hf3 here. Thanks in advance. September 20, 20205 yr Commercial Member You could be waiting a very long time... Pushback Express works in FS2020 now. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
September 20, 20205 yr Commercial Member Default tug is a limitation for us now, in Pushback Express, but once FS2020 gives the opportunity to create custom tugs, we will create our own, in any parking, so we will not depend on default tug, and, driving a custom tug anywhere, gives us the ability to push and pull, and add more steering angle, etc. This is just an starting point, really having not to preplan a pushback, gives more flexibility, in terms of pushing back fast, adding ramp agents, walking and movements is something we will definitivily would like to add to pushback express. The concept of not being depend in airport layout gives many freedom in many ways, really. Thinking about concept. About P3D/FSX, Pushback Express uses default tug, but, we will add the possibility to create it's own tug, so it will be like using UGCX, but without preplanning the pushback. We have towbar tugs models, so we could try doing that, but now for Pushback Express it's difficult to identify which FS it's running into....thats why it uses default tug. So we have to use the default tug, which in FS2020 at least, still looks really good. The default tug in P3D/FSX looks okay, but it doesn't look as good as the FS2020 tug. If you don't see a tug in P3D it's because: You probably at some point you installed GSX. GSX deletes the default/stock tug model. This is probably your situation. I've kept the Pushback Express panel open, although you'd usually have it closed or dragged to another monitor. As mentioned, if you don't see that tug, it's because GSX or UGCX deleted it or your scenery sliders are too low. Edited September 21, 20205 yr by byork B.
