This is too odd...I'm just south of you right now....at TGPY, doing a photo-op with a new paintjob.  Same bird as you coincidentally hehe.

Was actually starting down there and was going to fly the island chain up to Antigua 😉

 

That is interesting.  I did this a few hours before coming in to work.  But I am actually from Antigua (born and raised) of Anguillan parents.

Going to visit all the islands down there...its very beautiful in that region!

I will say that I am truly impressed with the Caribbean representation, and sure will make for some great island hopping once Aerosoft releases that Twotter, and even with Carenado's poor flight dynamics some of their GA models will do well.  I would be awesome of SIMCODERs takes a few of Carenado models and retrofits them like they did for X-Plane

Agree....and in the mean time...I'm trying to make heads and tails out of the painting format.

I'm playing with colors (obviously) of the main fuse....and testing the decal sheet and how to utilize it to add little gems on the plane until we can figure out exactly where everything is on the maps.   I may even make a few paints for well known contributors to our hobby. 😉 (Its something I like to do to thank them)

This color is growing on me. 🙂

 

Sweet.....I like it, as I am a lover of yellow, just need to put my registration of N100GT on it and its a keeper

It would look epic on a Baron 🙂, although the baron's flight dynamics are rather glitchy

Yeah haven;t even opened any Baron texture maps yet 😞    Its a challenge until we get paintkits or at least a map of where everything is in detail and some of the new ways they are using base coverage maps (at 64x64) to cover items like stripes, and reflection channels.

Anyway....doing custom registrations is tough right now...and I wouldnt even call what I'm doing "painting" as I'm really just poking around and seeing what shows up in the sim when I change something.  To do what you see here...I had to mod the panel.cfg (Thanks @Richard Sennett for pointing me to a site that showed me how) to wipe the default reg that appears there.  So not ready for prime time by any means.  Heck if I get the hang of it...I may even paint a BN2 if it makes it to the new platform! (hint: @HighBypass 😉😉 )

Wicked !!  Love it, I like the other registration as well.  I understand that  BN-2 is being developed for MFS 2020, I was one of the test pilots for the Flight1 BN-2 and it turned out pretty well, sounds were spot on and Flight dynamics were as good as they could have gotten them within the confines of the SIM platform.

It looks like a slightly brighter version of the yellow used on Caterpillar construction equipment (also diesel powered LOL) . What? It's relevant to me due to a request I posted in the repaint forum for a QW 146-100..
