September 24, 20205 yr I still fly and enjoy P3D.x, and I wonder what would the final 'out-of-Beta' E.A. features be, or look like from present? I also wonder if the feature will be out of Beta, with the next x.x version? Any thoughts?
September 24, 20205 yr Commercial Member I expect it to look exactly as True sky does on their videos. 😉 S. Oficial Website: https://www.FSReborn.com Discord Channel: https://discord.gg/XC82TqvKQ3

This would be the one 'push' to get either a 3080 (10 GB's), or the Big Boy...the 3090, for 24 GB's of video RAM. My 1070 8GB doesn't cut it with E.A. as on, with the sim wide open, as I like to run it. This would be the push... Edited September 24, 20205 yr by Sesquashtoo
September 24, 20205 yr It remains to be seen and we can hope but I highly doubt we will see all of the features implemented. A good example was the Sundog Triton water implementation which was heavily scaled back in terms of what p3d could render v what the package was capable with in terms of ocean modelling. Hope I am wrong, but hey I requested truesky back in 2011 via the LM request forums... dream come true still! Edited September 24, 20205 yr by kand

I can run the sim full out on sliders with 8, but if I try that with E.A. on...I get the Vram DX12 starvation HUNG blah blah no longer working....bye bye... September 24, 20205 yr In the linked video, they claim that TS is efficient in use of CPU time and memory (why are we having v out of memory issues then?), it also states that it's features are easy to control both dynamically and at the design stage, hopefully this is true, if so why are we having to wait so long for to be fully implemented into P3D v5? I'm not critersising LM or P3D I'm questioning the claims of the devs of TS. When this does come out of Beta...or anything beyond what we have now...it will force me to cough up for a new 3080/90 card. My 8GB can't handle it now, with vRAM starvation at over 7.x GB's....would love to run it, but can't with the sim Graphic Sliders, as I want them to be. Wanna play, gotta pay....
