first time seeing a non-generic AI livery.

Featured Replies

I don't usually fly to larger airports but this time I was in Hanoi and saw this United A330 on the gate. First time seeing a non-generic livery on the AI and I haven't installed any addons.

I used to build lots of AI traffic in the FSX days and kind of miss that in this. Hope Flight1 or some other will make the ultimate traffic with real world liveries for the AI.

The sim does currently ship with a (very) limited amount of real-world liveries.

Just one i thought? United....

No lol, Ive seen United airplanes in the middle of North Korea. Guess it was a diversion...

Do United actually fly out of Hanoi ?

No, and they also have never operated A330's.

nope but Ho Chi Minh City they do, or atleast used to.

Yeah, if you look in the Official area, there is a United livery for the generic twin engine airliner.  What I find humorous is hearing an airline call for clearance and taxi then watch a Piper or Cessna single prop taxi by with like SWA1234 as the callsign.

If you download some of the A320 liveries from the megapack... possibly even other models but I didn’t check the folders... they have AI models in them. It’s was a bit odd seeing Aer Lingus and Quantas at Sacramento international in California though lol. Yes they’re AI models with no panels etc.  they show with “use generic ai” turned on.

edit: the pack used to have separate folders for AI craft but they changed it up with the new version 10 pack you get through Google drive.
