Real life Airbus autothrottle disconnect question -why?
There is indeed a lot of variation among operators. The company which I'm most familiar with leaves it to pilot discretion.

Real life Airbus autothrottle disconnect question -why?
Practice purposes mostly. Also, SOP varies by airline. DLH requires manual thrust with AP off, whereas BAW forbids it and so on.

Rude UK waypoint names to be changed
It's a funny display of how language and its semantics are re-interpreted by each generation.

Inibuilds Heathrow for 2024 - trailer
They've got a huge team, it's mass production essentially, just like with the A350.

FSLabs A321CEO leak
Maybe this will survive if it's a Marketplace release unlike Fenix?

Aerodynamic's freeware DC10
It's well known by now that the PMDG classics originate from the JF project, which they took over.

sayintentions.ai - Partner Program, Traffic Injection Alpha
I think BATC is the overall winner at this point. SI is bloaty as heck and has not fixed bugs/inaccuracies. I'll get a couple of these once their feature sets are semi-stable in like 2030 or something.

PMDG's secret project? The 747-100!
I was surprised to see we still have two active in Europe.

MS2024 - AI Traffic/ATC improvements?
I was wondering by the way, how is it that entities like JF need not ask permission to use real liveries in their traffic addon, but ms do?

Why Back Course if both ends have ILS?
Some procedures like this still exist, mostly in the USA. They don't have you track the glide, though.

Fenix A319/A321 released! + launch trailer
Exactly this for DLH. This policy is for commonality with the 744 fleet, but it also helps maintain flying skill. And yes I know some 744 operators now apparently allow the autothrust to be kept in for landing.

I really need to try this!

IFR KSFO arrivals - need help
Was the Bay departure a charted procedure?

IFR KSFO arrivals - need help
This procedure evolved from this arrival that Jon might remember: https://www.fly.faa.gov/Information/west/zoa/sfo/atcCharts/SFO_STAR_00375GOLDENGATE.pdf

PMDG 737 Max to release during PMDG 777 variant cycle
Getting everything from PMDG.

Microsoft Flight Simulator | City Update 8: Las Vegas
So exactly how should I configure the content manager to use the two together?

PMDG 737 Max to release during PMDG 777 variant cycle
It does. I'd maybe compare it to the difference between the 747-400 and 747-8. Maybe a bit less than that.

PMDG 737 Max to release during PMDG 777 variant cycle
Forgot to say, the Mad Dog has one..:

PMDG 737 Max to release during PMDG 777 variant cycle
You can always simulate one yourself if you like. I get why Americans are so sensitive to these things but tbh if I were Boeing I wouldn’t necessarily oppose putting one in…

PMDG 737 Max to release during PMDG 777 variant cycle
Which variant of the max strikes your fancy?

PMDG 737 Max to release during PMDG 777 variant cycle
The data issues might refer to the yet-uncertified variants (7, 10).

New Fly The Maddog Release - 0222202
The flight model and systems are excellent but the graphics and sound mostly ported

How good is the Fly The Maddog X MD-80 for P3Dv5?
It's good, although not as polished/easy-to-use as some addons with newer origins (PMDG, FSL, MJC...) but the system simulation is extensive (CBs, failures...) and the FM is good too. The looks aren't on par with the competition but the "meat" is there.
