September 24, 20205 yr I noticed today that P3DV5 wasn't producing any contrails. When I checked PrecipitFX I found that it doesn't support P3D past version 4 and that had no plans to do so. PrecipitFX is now freeware but they are looking into making a new program for V5. What are fellow P3DV5 users, using to make contrails appear? September 25, 20205 yr There have been reports of this in v5 but it appears to be TAT and altitude related. V5 does display contrails based on some other forum posts I read. You could try over at the PMDG forums that has discussed this problem but essentially people were able to make it work in v5.
