(1) I've seen lots of videos showing MSFS2020 with some beautiful colors. Is this some kind of Mod ?

(2) IS it possible to Increase the LOD ?

(3) Is there a way to reduce or eliminate that strong blue haze in ??

1) It needs no mods

2) Yes up to 200 or you can edit right up to 900

(1)  So do they do it? Can we manage color saturation like P3D ?

(2) Really ,, How ?

1) No there are no shader mods. Does not need them imo.

2).....

3) Does it? Sorry I think the sim looks breath taking.

It is pretty accurate for Eastern Australia from the air, something to do with Isoprene emitted by eucalypt apparently, though in a lot of photography and video the haze gets filtered out. Of course flight sims have a lot of unrealistic stuff like lens flare in order to look more like a movie so removing the haze might be an option even if it is true to life.

I have no idea whether the haze is accurate for the rest of the world, do not fly there.

YES ... there *are* shader mods. You need to use nVidia Geforce Experience and its "Freestyle" function. It allows a limited subset of the more common Reshade shaders. There'd be more, but for some reason MSFS 2020 is classed as an online shootemup so many of the shaders are blocked.

However - basic brightness, contrast and colour correction can be applied "on the fly" via the Freestyle pop-up.

Not sure what this blue haze is that you are seeing Joe.

Seeing a certain amount of Rayleigh scattering (which can give a blue tint) is natural.  If it looks different from real photos taken at various altitudes, then you have some kind of unusual set-up or graphics card issue, as it doesn't seem to be a widespread problem (first I have heard of it actually).

Two things you could try though: -

1. Ensure you have TAA on, as it has been reported that any other settings can cause unusual tints.

2. Tweak the 'aerosol' setting to you liking in weather. It is possible to set this to zero if you really don't like the haze.  It will be unnatural though.  In my view, MSFS has the most realistic haze effects I have seen in a sim, and quite natural.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Nor me I tried to see some on a flight I just did over the Alps, 11,000 ft

This is about as much "blue" as I could see. I always use Life weather BTW.
