Was  going  to wait  till my  next upgrade  in another  4  months or  so  since  i  didnt  have  enough  space  on my  2  hard  drives  only  had  about  350  left.  Than i realized i  had  a hard  drive  for  recording  shows  on  my  tv it  is  a  (Porsche design 2t) so  didnt  know  if  it  would  work  so plugged it  in the usb  in the back of  pc.   Went  to  steam purchased it  there  and  downloaded  it  it  took  around  6  hours  to download. Now  to see  if  it  will load  etc  which it did:).   Hadn't  done  any  flights  as  of  yet   and  by the  first look of  it it  seems  to  run  with my  set  up  so  now  wondering  do i  upgrade  or  not in the  question.

Now  got  to  do  some  learning  and  setting up  controls  etc one  thing i have noticed  is  that  i  cant  use  my   hat  switch  to pan around   as  per  p3d  instead    using  the  mouse  and  holding  down  right mouse  button  to  view  around?

This guy is talking about how to make lMSFS like XP-11 but it is same for P3D type settings and I don't think he mentions anything about panning with hat, but you will see the method needed to make changes to any button or axis

Doesn't make sense.

If you are satisfied with how it runs then don't. If you feel that you need better performance then upgrade.

Set up your controller so you could use hat switch.
