October 9, 20205 yr I did small comparison (although I don't like such thing), I kept looking at this comparison and I was amazed how far the sim has evolved in general with technology, pretty sure bright future ahead! thank you Microsoft and Asobo for this! The graphic settings that I am using the best I can get without having P3D crossing my vram budget (RTX2080), maybe with the new RTX3090 could be better due to the vram capacity. addones, I have installed all the orbx stuff (world, vector, Germany south and North ) AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

I use v4.5 sometimes, but cannot get v5 because I don't have a good enough video card. I am grateful that I can use my GTX970 on MSFS and have it perform way better than expected. October 10, 20205 yr I'm using P3D 4.5 on rare occasion now, mainly to stay familiar w/ PMDG NGXu/777 and Majesti Q400. It's really only good for the better airware now--the rest is completely uninspiring for me these days, and performance ultimately-sucks. I run HT enabled and temps in P3D are around 67C, in MSFS around 50C. And those spikes of CPU demand in P3D--and my system is decent for sure. Even this simple rural Colorado ag area airport and the TBM is a thing of beauty to behold. I'm stunned how many simple smaller airports are really quite lovely. TOTAL game changer.
