Known Bug When Changing Weather?

Featured Replies

Probably like many, I have a list of things that appear to be broken and I'm not sure if these are pertienent to my install, or whether they are known issues which others are experiencing too. I have looked around, but can't see much about this, but is anyone experiencing severe stuttering when/if changing weather/clouds during a flight?

I do occasionally change weather (between presets or from live to a preset) and didn't observe subsequent stuttering, and certainly not severe, so far, but I'll keep an eye on it now.

+1

I also get stuttering and a pause when I change the time.

Yes, during manual weather change everyone gets stuttering. That is understandable, because it's a very difficult for computer. Or did you mean, that you meet stutterig, when weather changes autmatically?

No, if I change the clouds for example, in a customised weather scenario. It then becomes extremely stuttery and never recovers. It's not that I want to change the weather particularly during a  flight, this is just something I have experienced during the early stages of finding my way around the sim.

I get a long stutter when I change the aerosol density, which is changed along with each weather preset as well. No stutter when changing the time. I have a very old system that does not meet the minimum requirements though.

So this is different. I only switched from one scenario to another one so far.

Kind regards, Michael

Apologies Michael, I meant selecting a weather scenario, not customised.
