The coolest little airport, Locher Sarentino

This fellow has some seriously excellent skills:

Awesome,  dude! Nice technique. The Extra is one of my favorites in the game.  Love flying it.

/On a side note since FS2020 has attracted so many newcomers to the the flight sim genre.    @ anyone who is new to the Extra,  remember to empty the wing tanks before performing aerobatics.   It's not rated for aerobatic flight with fuel in those tanks due to airframe stress related concerns,  and it has a very,  very substantial affect on the roll rate.   Just thought I'd mention it because I'm sure this video will put people in the seat of an Extra!

Rubbish- that's not skilled- that's just dangerous.

Lol... Hopefully, and perhaps one day, you will understand the kinds of doors that MFS opens to simmers... doors which are otherwise closed & locked by the inconvenient constraints (um, like death) imposed on them by & during RL. Happily, and just so that you are aware, this is a MFS video, not one of "RL"; perhaps and evidently, you did not realize that ;;).

Will you next mention how irresponsible it is to fly [in MFS] without a [RL] pilot cert? Ok, ok, I've got one of those... yaayyy, no reprimands... yaayyy! lol

Thanks, it's always educational to be exposed to different viewpoints.

Hi,

WU IX Italy and Malta has broken part of the free Locher Sarentino airfield (the path that leads from the runway to the parking). Do you know if there is any chance to get an updated or a patch for this formidable scenery?

Thank you

When the BMW guy had to make up a fantasy ICAO for a real life private airstrip in someone's backyard that no ID, he named it LOCH.

It's Gebhard Locher's private airstrip, and that's his residence right there and also his company headquarters (Pilatus Aircraft Ltd.).

Locher and his PC-12 at this strip.

Well it's yet another compelliong reason to uninstall Italy and Malta WU9 then.... I'd much rather have Locher.

My initial thought was that maybe John wants to keep the Italy WU even if very little good came out of it. It did more harm than good on my system.

What?

Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is definately not his company. Gebhard Locher's company are making fire safe doors.

Seems as though the author of Locher has taken some of his creations behind a  paywall on his own site.   There appears to be a new version of Locher there,  but the links are broken for me.

I suspect that the "everything being broken" issue is down to the site being Russian, so payment processors and file hosts may well have cut ties with it due to various sanctions on doing business with Russia.

Hey thanks for that. I was mistaken. What fooled me was this sentence on Pilatus website:

"Which explains why he now has his own strip right behind his home and company headquarters. Pilatus Aircraft Ltd"

Sentence quoted from here: (and also where I found that picture of Locher) :

Locher Airfield – A Slightly Different Airfield | Pilatus Aircraft Ltd (pilatus-aircraft.com)
