Just to clarify a bit, although the Saitek TQ that plugs into the Saitek yoke uses a DIN connector that looks like a PS2 connector, it is not a PS2 interface logically speaking. In other words, if you computer happened to have a PS2 socket, it would not work to plug that TQ directly into the computer.

thank you for the clarification

Kind regards,

Tim

From a post by LesOReilly in the hardware section of Avsim ... might be relevant, might not.

I have the same setup as the OP except that my new yoke is the Honeycomb.  I have other USB quadrants for throttle, Props and Mixture but still use the axes on the throttle quadrant from the Saitek yoke connected by the PS2 port on the yoke - one for trim and another for Spoilers.  This works fine in MSFS2020 and P3D but with one issue -  I can't get FSUIPC to see the old Saitek yoke and quadrant  if the Honeycomb yoke is connected - however I guess that is not an issue for this forum.

Want to make sure I understand. You are saying MSFS and P3D see the trim and spoilers levers on the Saitek "PS2" TQ when the Honeycomb yoke is connected, but FSUIPC6 with P3D, and FSUIPC7 with MSFS, do not see these two levers if the Homeycomb yoke is connected?

Might be best to discuss further over on the AVSIM Hardware Controllers forum if you want to post there.
