Back-to-back attempts at flights. First one about 200 NM in the TBM, got to cruise altitude at 28,000 feet, was messing around in the G3000, and it froze. It didn't unfreeze.

Fired it right up again, loaded up a 50 NM flight in the TBM, got about halfway there, and again, while looking at the approach in the G3000, it platzed.

Haven't had it happen before ever. Everything stock. Kind of a bummer, because I've just fallen in love with this plane and I've been looking forward to it all day.

If I don't go up for dinner right now I'll be in for it, so I'll have to give it a try another day. Oh well...

I had exactly the same thing happen to me today.  First time.  Also in the TBM - using the G3000 mod.

Never mind, thought this was about CTDs. I guess it's about the gauge freezing.

If you want to try to save your flight and not have to restart, when the G1000 freezes on me sometimes turning of the avionics then switching them back on works. As a last resort you can turn on developer mode and use it to switch to another plane, then back to the original. It is frustrating, especially when you are at the end of a long flight, on approach, and suddenly have no control.

Mine was the unmodded.

Okay, so it's not the mod thankfully.  I was using the GPS at the time it froze.

If you just click on Load Approach again, everything comes back to life. I have had it freeze with the G3000 Mod and without it, doesn't matter. Now it's just a standard thing to occasionally check that things are not frozen and click Load if they are.
