Just two...

I caught sight of a Cessna 140, today, at the top of Freeware Files List in the Library, probably, because of its nostalgic appeal...

Model 140, was the first commercially successful plane, that Cessna manufactured after returning to production, after World War II. So, the Cessna 140 may be considered the true "beginning" of the illustrious Cessna lineage...[Side Note: There was also a Cessna Model 120 (an economy version of the 140), built about the same time as the 140. However, it was actually the 140 that had flown first (1945 vs. 1946).]

I've also included for comparison an image of the Cessna 150 (the tricycle gear trainer and successor to the C140), that flew first, in 1957, and then led to the successive (and highly successful) range of evolutions through Cessna 152 and beyond. The C150, on record, is the fifth most produced civilian plane ever...!

Hope you enjoy the images of these two classics...!

The first one below is for the Cessna C140.
And, the second one is for the Cessna C150.

Love the coincidence!  I just installed the justflight C152 as well.  They don't make nostalgia like that anymore.

Which 150 addon is this?

That 152 cockpit color reminds me of my Grandma's Kitchen Appliances 😃

Sorry, I did not get to see it till now...

The Cessna 150 is from the "French-VFR" website. Click "Downloads" to see all their aircraft...nice ones....(this is a group of passionate simmers, I can tell...).

There is talk, there, of converting some of their VFR planes to MSFS...in the future...

Or, actually, even a bit more "period" (than Grandma's) kitchenware....🙂...

And, Mark, here, is clearly a bit old-fashioned, and seems to like this color, though,....🙂...

Oh well, how far we have come....with those latest (MSFS) Citation CJ4 and Citation Longitude (ultra-modern) cockpits, of today's Cessna....??
