Not much I can say other than what I've said. 1..Unable to load the sim, no messages just my desktop 2..Tried to re-install by downloading it again from my account at Microsoft and it won't download. And that's it can't say any more
November 7, 20205 yr Mine started like this yesterday. Had to turn off Real Time Protection in Windows security. MSFS would start, then immediately CTD. It would'nt get to the first screen. It sounds very similar to your issue. I'll try to find the link on the FlightSimulator forums. November 7, 20205 yr There was an issue with a Windows Defender update. Try disabling Defender, then start the sim. If it loads you can reenable defender again.

November 7, 20205 yr It's due to an issue with a recently updated Gaming services via MS Store. Has been fixed yesterday. Go to MS Store and update all. Should work then.
November 9, 20205 yr I was fortunate not to have this issue and my AV app must'a disabled defender thus...saved the issue. However...you gotta wonder who's driving the bus when MS's own software messes up...well...MS's own software? 🙄 I know it's "technically" an AS app that MS happens to be heavily involved with, but still. Love the sim, but scratching my head on this....I mean...its not like its a Google app 🤣...which we all know MS purposely messes with, especially if you try to do a "Google" search in Bing...LoL....they try to do everything BUT get you where you'd expect to go in that search algorithm. Glad they identified and fixed it...but sheez.... Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
