  1. I cannot speak for them, but I have the Kodiak 100 I purchased thru Marketplace for MSFS 2020, it runs fine in MSFS 2024 as long as I stream it, but there is an issue with the local install which is supposed to be fixed in one of the next updates (MS issue), but there isn't an upgrade fee that I have seen on any of their FS 2020 aircraft over to FS 2024.
  2. I think the key difference is you purchased from JustFlight and I purchased out of the Marketplace which the two are totally different in how the sim loads the models. Nevertheless, I understand they have a fix in the works.

  4. Ok, maybe it's because I installed it after the SU4 update. There are a few of us with the same issue over on Discord. My understanding from Simworks is there was something the the SU4 update that did something to the installer, but hey, i only know what they tell me. Thanks for the info. I suppose it could also be isolated to a specific server as well. I haven't asked that question or tried over a VPN, but I may this afternoon.
  5. Did you copy over the files from a fs2020 install? That's the only way it will work - they said. I had to do a fresh install from the Marketplace when I installed fs2024, even though I purchased the Kodiak 100 originally for fs2020.
  6. This ended up being a bug with SU4. The streamed version is fine, it's the locally installed version that has the issue. Both Asobo and Simworks are aware.
  7. Thanks to both of you, but I just tried several and still no joy. I have joined Simworks discord channel and posed the question there as well. I will report back here if I hear any news.
  8. Mod, please lock this thread. I resurrected a previous thread on the Kodiak. Thanks!
  9. I will resurrect this post... On Sunday when looking at my library, there was an update to the Kodiak in msfs2024, so I installed it. Whatever the update was broke the plane, so now when I go to fly it, I see only the fuselage skeleton, no wings, tail, engine, just the inner skin and pilot sitting there like a dork. Has anyone else seen this update...I'm not even sure how long the update had been sitting there as I have about a 1 year gap between msfs2020 and msfs2024 because of my pc going to purgatory until I finished it off. Anywho, I have completely uninstalled it, redownloaded several times and reinstalled several times, but for whatever reason is broke and I'm not sure how to fix or what I can do. Thanks!
  10. UPDATE: After redownloading several times, it finally installed, but still the same issue. I've turn-off my community stuff from Add-On Linker, but still no joy.
  11. I installed the Kodiak when I installed msfs2024, but there wasn't any issues with it and at some point I started flight with it so I could set-up the controls. So this morning, I saw there was an update for it, so I installed it with no issues. I decided to fly it this afternoon and when I clicked the Ready to Fly button, I was greeted with a fuselage skeleton and no wings, so I closed the sim, restated pc and tried again to make a flight and got the same thing. Then I uninstalled it from Marketplace option. Now when I download and install, the installation fails. Any suggestions on the next step? Thanks!
  12. I cannot upload an avatar to my profile. I select the pic (.png) to upload it adds it in the window, the throws the message..."Oops something went wrong!" when I click the Upload button. Thanks!
  13. Did it break again?
  14. Quick update: I finally got FS2020 installed a second time, it went much quicker. Unfortunately, that pc has issues that continued even with a fresh install and MSFS2020 and nothing else, pure vanilla. I am a IT guy and the I could deduce is or was a failing drive and or MB. Nevertheless, since it is the holiday of giving, I gave myself an entire new hardware platform, although, I decided I would forego the self build like my last one. I did this mainly because I wanted to control cost. I have no self control when it comes to picking and choosing hardware components and I end up overshooting my budget. Therefore, I purchased a CyberPower system...specs in my signature below. I also dropped a dime on upgrading the sim to FS2024. What a difference a day makes!!! Everything is peachy and running well. I cannot believe the time to download between 2020 and 2024. It dropped and installed in like 5 mins. So, thanks to all that piped in to help a brutha out!
  15. Actually, it's very hard to tell because it keeps flashing at Please Wait... The only AV I have on this is Windows defender and I excluded MSFS2020 drive, so I wouldn't think that is causing it, but thank you for that suggestion.
  16. Thanks for that! I've restarted both msfs2020 and Windows. I am wired directly to my router. My msfs desktop doesn't have wifi. Nonetheless, it's chugging along. I don't know how I got it installed the first time when I was on DSL, but I remember it took days.
  17. I recently had some issues with my pc and ended up doing a complete wipe of Windows and MSFS 2020. I reinstalled Windows, drivers, etc. with no issues. Then I got to MSFS. I'm installing just like I did the very first time, to a 500GB SSD (not my OS drive). I logged into the Microsoft Store, found the title and downloaded. Took just a short while. Then I fired up the sim for the first time, v1.39.9.0 and a 129GB update awaits, so I kicked it off. It's been running for hours today and it is currently sitting at 12.95GB downloaded. I have a 500Mbs service. Is it just me, or does something seem fowled up? I remember, some issues with downloading patches and updates from the MS server in the Atlanta, GA region back in the day when MSFS 2020 first released. Were those issues resolved? I have a VPN, but it's not connected. I still live in the Southeast region of the US, so I assume I'm getting data from server out of Atl. Any advice appreciated.
  18. I'm in, Southeast US. PTSD was put back in it's box.
  19. I didn't see a Karen berating the crew tho, I guess all the MSFS flights will be drama free. Great work on this update.
  20. Well done! Thank you for what you do for the community. Many will enjoy this gem for years to come.
  21. Is there a cockpit switch reference for the Chieftain?
  22. Bill, I think Scott is accurate in his response. Robert
  23. Gulfstream hasn't licensed nor released any flight dynamics or internal flight control data for any of it's aircraft to be developed for simulation. Therefore, I would not invest any time nor energy into any product that is illegally marking their products as "Gulfstream". Just saying.
